Carol Traver, Senior Developmental Editor, has been helping authors shape their stories for more than a decade. Specializing in inspirational memoir, Carol has contributed to the development of a wide variety of titles, including: The Time Mom Met Hitler, Frost Came to Dinner and I Heard the Greatest Story Ever Told by Dikkon Eberhart, Saving My Assassin by Virginia Prodan, and the NYT bestseller, Growing Up Amish, by Ira Wagler. Her most recent collaborative efforts include With My Eyes Wide Open by KoRn guitartist, Brian “Head” Welch, and I’m No Angel, by former Victoria’s Secret runway model Kylie Bisutti. Carol has a Masters in English from Colorado State University, and yet despite back-to-back careers in journalism and publishing, still doesn’t know how to type, and seems strangely oblivious to all forms of punctuation apart from ellipses and em-dashes. Sadly, reading an e-mail from Carol is often like trying to interpret Morse Code.
